The site's not there any more. Boo. But there's still some videos on YouTube. Yay.

And you can see what the site was like. Yay.

Scalextric, girls and puking in a fighter jet. That's Zoo!

Mother created a campaign that followed the exploits of two likely lads as they 'spunk loads of cash' doing stuff that Zoo readers could only dream of.

Instead of spending their cash on making ads, they spent it on doing cool stuff instead.

So we ended up with short films of the guys doing things like; building the biggest Scalextric track in the World, playing strip-crazy-golf with page-3 'stunna' Keeley, putting 13 topless girls on a bouncy castle, and seeing how far you can get in a black cab for £10,000.

The content naturally fitted a blog format as all the stories were unfolding over time. Zootube.co.uk was born. We hosted all the clips on popular video sharing sites and used them to feed traffic to the Zootube site. We also seeded the clips in key locations around the web.

Additionally, their were 10 second TV teaser ads that drove people to the site.

What did we achieve? We created something that was right for Zoo at the time. We built an active community of 'Zootubers' who sent us all kinds of hair-curling clips and photos. The site and the clips were linked to from all around the web and the clips were viewed by millions of people. Which was all very nice.
