To get the ball rolling, we've set up a little competition.
You might've heard of ChatRoulette. It's a bit like Omegle.com, the live instant messaging service that hooked you up to another random user for one-on-one chats. Only Chat Roulette has webcams.
So we're challenging men to venture into the dirty, smelly swathes of ChatRoulette to find a woman. And seduce her. The best man wins £250 to blow at French Connection Man on a decent outfit to seduce real ladies in the real world.
Skype Outside
Skype has launched Skype Mobile for people who need Skype when they’re out and about, meaning you’re free to escape from your computer and use Skype in the garden or down on the beach.
Following on from the success of Skype’s Nomads campaign in 2009, the Skype Outside campaign involves getting artists from around the world to create new art from Skype calls. Five artists from across the globe are on call to help transform people’s personal messages into outdoor art.
This very minute, messages are being sculpted into trees in Turkey, taken to the streets of Tokyo, turned into contemporary art in the USA, set free in the Australian Outback and re-imagined by street performers in Barcelona.Each artist has the Skype application on their mobile phone and anyone in the world can call one of them, leave a voice message and then have their message unleashed into the great outdoors.

When we heard that all the Poke partners were stealing away for a whole Friday to Iain's wedding, it seemed only right to celebrate. And what could be more appropriate than to relive the golden days of New York's ad-land with a tribute to the utterly irresistible Mad Men.
This seemed to involve raiding a lot of cupboards for vintage dresses, twinsets & pearls, bow ties, braces and a lot of stiff whiskey. All topped off with a little chain-smoking, casual sexism and a classic typewriter.
Well, any excuse.
The Name of the Game
The new Virgin F1 Racing car (or "VR-01" for those in the know) was revealed yesterday at Silverstone. As part of the launch hullaballoo, we're asking fans to name Timo and Lucas' rides.
The Twittersphere seems pretty interested, so why not give it a try? Just include the #namethevirginf1car hashtag and tweet away.
Winners will get to be part of F1 history (well, for 2010 at least) and some autographed swag to seal the deal.
Yo, Yodelizer
Just like the Eskimos are meant to have loads of words for snow (because they're snow experts), we wanted the new, open, Yahoo! to have loads of yodels for all kinds of awesome web stuff. What if the internet has served you something gross? Or sexy? Or sexy-gross? Whatever, there's a yodel for that.
The Yahoo! Yodelizer can be used to create a yodel to celebrate ANYTHING you might find on the web.
Making a Yodel is super easy. Using your keyboard, you can create a Yodel from a bunch of pre-recorded YAs and Hoos. Then you can attach it to whatever you like on the internet. There's no logging in, no labyrinthine instructions and it's annoyingly addictive.
It's kind of like a URL shortener. But with added yodelly goodness.

Events would not be the same without Stuff Club creating a childlike-joy-inducing object of entertainment. (You might remember the Quick-Draw Saloon back in July, also courtesy of Stuff Club.)
For Christmas, we were presented with Santa's Lap, an oversized pair of legs that dish out 'naughty' punishments and 'nice' treats. Upon setting yourself down on Santa's knees, you are rather alarmingly told not to move while a naughty-or-nice-ometer decides your fate.

Pass the Gauloises
Poke has teamed up with Stella Artois and The Auteurs to bring you some serious Francophilia. Classic French films from the 1960s by Truffaut, Godard, Marker, Demy, and Resnais are playing exclusively from the online cinema, The Auteurs. And you can watch a free film every day for a week from 15th - 22nd December. Très bien.
