As well as sporting Poke’s finest beard, our Executive Creative Director and founder, Nik Roope has just achieved something even more impressive. Along with his product design company, Hulger and designer Samuel Wilkinson, Nik has just won the Brit Insurance Design of the Year award for the Plumen lightbulb.

Poke tends not to use excessive exclamation points but it’s taking all our will power to hold back on this occasion.
